We are excited to share the twelfth issue of the C.A.R.E.S. Pharmacy Network Newsletter! In this issue we highlight the recent COVID-19 related telehealth changes for Medicare beneficiaries. We also introduce to you our newest C.A.R.E.S. Pharmacy Network Trainee – Dr. Vicky Stoudenmire, Pharmacist from the Brown Drug Company in Selma, AL, and Mrs. Sharon Redd – Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Director for the South Central Alabama Development Commission (SCADC),, as our ADRC Spotlight. The importance of preventing Medicare Fraud and the COVID-19 related Medicare changes have been highlighted in this issue. We would like you to be aware of the COVID-19 testing fraud among Medicare beneficiaries.
Also, a friendly reminder to take advantage of our three on-hour home-study CE articles or a three hour comprehensive online video training program that will provide you with information to help your patients find the assistance they need. We hope that the information in this newsletter will be useful as you continue to help your patients access the care and medications they need.
