The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has expanded Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine recommendations to include adults aged 50–59 years. The RSV vaccine was previously recommended for older adults aged 60–74 years who are at high risk and for all adults aged 75 years and older. All three age groups are recommended to receive a one-time dose of the RSV vaccine. No booster is required after the initial dose.
