COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 1C Underway!

Dear Pharmacists,

As of February 8th, Alabama Public Health announced they are now moving to Phase 1C of the COVID-19 vaccination plan. This includes the following:

1. Everyone from the previous phases (Phase 1A and 1B)

2. Persons in identified age groups at risk for COVID 19 associated morbidity and mortality not included in Phase 1B

3. Persons with high-risk medical conditions

4. Critical workers not recommended for vaccination in Phase 1B

This Phase 1C includes patients that are 65 years of age or older, patients 16 years of age and older that have high-risk medical conditions, and other critical workers. For more information, please visit the Alabama Public Health website.
