On April 23, Our team along with the Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center and Ms. Leisa Askew of Lee Russell Council of Governments joined forces to host a Vaccine Education Workshop for older adults, in collaboration with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).
The workshop offered a concise overview of vaccines for older adults, including personalized vaccine assessments based on individual records and records retrieved from Alabama Immunization registry. Participants engaged actively, asking insightful questions and receiving tailored recommendations for further discussions with healthcare providers or pharmacists.
Armed with knowledge and personalized guidance, attendees left the workshop empowered to make informed decisions about their immunization
