If you have a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C) and want to switch to another plan, you can take this chance during Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period from January 1st to March 31st each year. You can switch from your current Medicare Advantage plan to another Medicare Advantage plan, or return to Original Medicare and join a stand-alone prescription drug plan (Part D). The new coverage will come into effect from the beginning of the month after you make the change. For example, if you switch to a new Medicare Advantage plan in March, the new plan takes effect from April 1st.

Remember, you can only make a one-time change during this Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period.
