CDC Newly Released Masking Guideline
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated masking guideline at the end of July. The CDC recommended fully vaccinated people to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission. For people who are unvaccinated, the guideline remains the same, that is, always wearing a mask indoors. Based on CDC report, the majority of the counties in Alabama are at substantial or high level of community transmission. Please make sure your patients are aware of the newly released masking guidance and wearing a mask in public indoor settings.
