As we progress into the later phases of the COVID-19 vaccination plans, there have been more reports concerning fraud or scams for obtaining a vaccine, and the problem is growing. These fraudulent criminals have been preying on unsuspecting patients waiting to protect themselves from the current pandemic. On the AARP website, they have listed potential indicators of fraud and tips on how to protect yourself and patients from possible scams. If you or a patient suspects they have been potentially approached by fraudulent claims, please report it to tips.hhs.gov or by calling 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477).
