Hello C.A.R.E.S. Pharmacists!
Just a kind reminder that we should be on the lookout for individuals who may be qualified for a Medicare Savings Program or an ExtraHelp or Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS). Those who are successfully enrolled in these programs will have a much lower copayment of their medications. Please help us by referring these individuals to SHIP for assistance with eligibility screening and enrollment.
Interested to know what the income limit is for each program (to determine their eligibility)? While there is a resource limit for LIS, there is no resource limit for Alabama MSP.
