US pharmacy chains intend to promote flu vaccine since October when the seasonal flu starts. CDC Director Robert Redfield expressed concern that combined flu and COVID-19 could be a heavier roll on Americans. A poll among 4,428 adults showed that about 60% of US adults decide to take flu vaccines in the fall. Chain pharmacies, including CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens, are preparing sufficient flu vaccine doses in order to meet the coming demand. Vaccine makers, including Drugmakers, CSL, and GLAX, are ready to ramp up to meet the needs.
