Pharmacists can test for COVID-19 regardless of state regulations, HHS says

You can test your patients for COVID-19 regardless of state regulations.

An advisory opinion was claimed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the General Counsel on Wednesday, May 20. It clarified that licensed pharmacists can order and administer COVID-19 tests even in states or localities limited or prohibited pharmacists from performing these tests.
